ARIA Technologies builds numerical simulation models of the atmospheric environment for five sectors of activity (industry, cities and regions, industrial risks, renewable energies, climate change).

These calculation tools can include the simulation of micro-meteorological flows, the evaluation or inventory of pollutant or GHG emissions, reactive dispersion models at all scales, as well as the procedures for analyzing and visualizing results. They are integrated into online monitoring and forecasting systems, for a factory, a city, a country or a region, and they allow both to distribute information to the public and to study transformation scenarios or adaptation, which can constitute a decision-making aid for emission reduction strategies, for example, whether for conventional pollutants or GHGs.

In particular, ARIA Technologies has very advanced skills and solutions in the field of 3D urban simulation at micro-scale (metric resolution) with the PMSS model, developed in collaboration with the CEA, and used both in the AIRCITY system for Airparif, on the water treatment plants of the SUEZ Group (NOSE® system) and in the most advanced accidental toxic release simulation systems (HPAC for the US-DOD, SIMPAC for South Atmo.).

ARIA Technologies operates both as a specialized design office, software publisher, systems integrator, and training center. The ARIA Technologies group has around fifty people worldwide with around thirty people in France (www.aria.fr), about fifteen in Italy in its subsidiaries ARINET et Simularia, five people in Latin America at AIR de Brasil and in its office in Santiago de Chile, as well as sales managers in Singapore and China.
