Founded in 2014, Clarity Movement Co. is a technology company with an environmental mission based in Berkeley, California. Clarity works globally on measuring air pollution, using new high-resolution technology for monitoring air quality. Since developing a patented particle sensor with Sensirion, Clarity has successfully combined air pollution measurement, IoT and data analytics into a single sensor, revolutionizing the way cities understand and respond to urban pollution. 

Introduced in 2017, Clarity Air Monitoring merges hardware and software, becoming the most cost-effective and accurate solution available on the market for measuring air quality in cities at high resolution. In August 2018, Clarity deployed its sensors in more than 33 cities and 22 countries. This rapid growth on a global scale has allowed the company to work with a wide variety of municipalities, intergovernmental organizations, including the UN Environment (UNEP), UN Habitat and other NGOs, scientific research institutes and other private actors. .
